Bringing Community Together Through Odd Fellowship
Fostering friendship and community spirit
Who is the Odd Fellows?
The Odd Fellows is an organization that was the result of trade guilds in England. The name being the result that it was considered "Odd" the help others. In 1819 a group of 5 men, led by Thomas Wildey, met at the Sevens Stars Tavern in Baltimore, Maryland and started an endeavor which became the Independent Order of Oddfellows. Over 200 years later the IOOF is keeping true to it's roots of Friendship, Love, and Truth though our four goals which are Visiting the Sick, Relieving the Distressed, Burying the Dead, and Educating the Orphan!
